On November 5th our president, Sandy Madar, represented us at the Citizens Information Board’s conference in Ireland. The main subject of the conference was “Money advice and budgeting 2020 and beyond”. We are proud that our president was invited to speak at the conference as Ireland is at the forefront of debt advice in Europe, and our partner and member MABS does a great work counselling people in need – we and the rest of Europe have a lot to learn from MABS and the CIB. We need collaboration across borders if we want to fix the problem of over-indebtedness, we need to work together for sensible regulation and free debt advice to all citizens who need it!
