Monday September 23th ECDN board member Ewa Kruk from SKEF in Poland attended the academic conference “Consumer safety – holistic picture”, organized by the Department of Consumer Behavior Research, Institute of Management, College of Management and Finance SGH Warsaw School of Economics.

Ewa Kruk took a role of practitioner and had a speech on the subject: “The importance of financial education in building awareness and consumer safety – good practices”.

The aim of the conference was to exchange knowledge and experience related to the security of the modern consumer. Researchers and practitioners were to draw attention to the security of goods and services used by various consumer groups, consumer safety in virtual space, as well as legal regulations and institutions responsible for consumer safety.
